Key Responsibilities
- Analyze educational needs and challenges within various learning contexts to identify and recommend appropriate technology solutions and integrations.
- Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective technology-enhanced learning materials, platforms, and experiences, leveraging Tilde's language technologies where applicable.
- Provide expert technical support, guidance, and training to educators and learners on the effective use of educational software, tools, and platforms.
- Evaluate emerging educational technologies, tools, and trends, assessing their potential impact and fit for Tilde's strategic educational initiatives.
- Manage educational technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with educational objectives.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, content creators, software developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of EdTech solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, best practices, and guidelines for the consistent and effective use of educational technologies.
- Ensure that all implemented technologies comply with national and international accessibility standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Collect and analyze data on the effectiveness of educational technology interventions, using insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational technology role, preferably within an academic or corporate learning environment.
- Demonstrated experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in various educational software and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven project management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical and pedagogical challenges.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience working with AI-powered learning tools or natural language processing applications in an educational context.
- Familiarity with data analytics for education and learning outcome assessment.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to customize or integrate tools.
- Proficiency in Latvian is a significant advantage.
- Experience in both K-12 and higher education settings.
