Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival, making them feel instantly at ease.
- Efficiently manage reservations and walk-in seating, optimizing table turns and guest flow.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and providing initial information about the establishment.
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and taking reservations accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front entrance and waiting area, ensuring a polished first impression.
- Assist with light pre-bussing and table setup as needed to support service staff, contributing to seamless operations.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests gracefully and proactively, escalating to management when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire team (servers, bussers, kitchen staff) to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations during peak hours with empathy and clarity.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols throughout the front-of-house.
