Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the construction site.
- Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Perform general site cleanup, including sweeping, tidying, and waste disposal.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Support the movement and setup of scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and experienced team members.
