We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Blockchain Developer to join our pioneering technology team in Riga. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in exploring, designing, and implementing robust blockchain solutions that enhance our product offerings, improve operational efficiencies, and introduce novel gaming mechanics. As a Blockchain Developer, you will delve into the exciting potential of distributed ledger technologies, smart contracts, and Web3 paradigms, applying them to the high-performance, real-time environment of live casino. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of blockchain development, from ideation and architectural design to secure coding, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, primarily Ethereum.
- Architect and implement scalable backend services for blockchain integration, ensuring seamless communication with existing systems.
- Conduct thorough research and evaluation of new blockchain technologies, protocols, and Layer 2 solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define and deliver blockchain-powered features.
- Develop and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) and user interfaces for blockchain interactions.
- Ensure the highest standards of code quality, security, and performance through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and infrastructure for blockchain initiatives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing blockchain solutions as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development.
- Strong understanding of Ethereum blockchain architecture, EVM, and associated tools (Truffle, Hardhat, Web3.js/Ethers.js).
- Solid knowledge of cryptographic principles and secure coding practices for blockchain.
- Experience with backend development languages such as Go, Node.js, or Python.
- Familiarity with distributed ledger technologies (DLT) and decentralized application (dApp) development.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other blockchain platforms (e.g., Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Solana).
- Knowledge of Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g., Optimism, Arbitrum).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Previous experience in the online gaming or FinTech industries.
