Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and carrier selections to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and reconciliation, minimizing discrepancies and losses.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures within the warehouse and during delivery processes.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure efficient procurement and delivery of goods.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate performance reports.
- Identify and resolve logistics-related issues, such as delivery delays, damages, and lost shipments, promptly and effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on logistics activities, including costs, performance metrics, and compliance.
- Train and supervise junior logistics staff or warehouse personnel as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
