Job Description
Career.supersecrets is actively seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance Photographer specializing in both Event and Commercial photography to join our talent network. This is an exciting opportunity for a photographer with a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling through visuals, and the technical prowess to deliver outstanding results for a diverse range of clients. As a freelance professional, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images at various events, including corporate conferences, social gatherings, product launches, and private celebrations. Additionally, you will undertake commercial assignments, producing compelling imagery for marketing campaigns, brand content, and e-commerce platforms. This role requires flexibility, exceptional professionalism, and the ability to consistently produce captivating visual content that meets client objectives and exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute photography shoots for diverse events and commercial projects.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, brief, and specific requirements for each assignment.
- Capture high-resolution, impactful images that align with client branding and project objectives.
- Perform professional post-production tasks, including editing, retouching, color correction, and cropping, using industry-standard software.
- Ensure timely delivery of final edited images in specified formats and resolutions.
- Maintain and care for personal photography equipment, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition.
- Develop and propose creative concepts for commercial shoots and event coverage.
- Manage project timelines and communicate progress effectively with Career.supersecrets and direct clients.
- Stay updated with current photography trends, techniques, and equipment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in event and commercial photography with a strong portfolio.
- Expert proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Mastery of photo editing software, including Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Exceptional understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional demeanor on all assignments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.
- Access to a personal studio space or portable studio setup.
- Possession of own transportation for easy travel to shoot locations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
