Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises, inside and out, during night hours.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or vandalism.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all alarms, emergency situations, and security breaches.
- Document and report all incidents, suspicious activities, and irregularities in detailed written reports.
- Control access points, verifying credentials for all individuals entering and exiting the property.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Assist employees and visitors with security-related inquiries or issues.
- Perform routine checks on locks, gates, and other security infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with management and emergency services as required.
Required Skills
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a security role, preferably night shift operations
- Excellent observational and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective reporting
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and access control systems
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for report writing
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
