Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas on foot or in a vehicle, monitoring premises for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, or safety hazards.
- Observe and report any unusual occurrences, irregularities, or potential threats to supervisors and relevant authorities.
- Control access to buildings and premises, verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras and alarms, responding promptly to any alerts.
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, following established protocols and assisting emergency services.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with security regulations.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with directions and information.
- Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.
- Operate and maintain security equipment in accordance with training.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Security Guard license in Arizona (we will guide you through this process during training)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system monitoring
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license (preferred for some sites, not all)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service role
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to adapt to various work environments and client needs
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude
