As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and testing of complex mechanical systems and components. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations (FEA, CFD).
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, software, manufacturing) to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis for design failures and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Participate in the full product lifecycle, from concept generation and prototyping to testing and production launch.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Support the manufacturing team with design clarifications and process improvements.
  • Research and evaluate new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, material science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering calculations and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eligibility for full visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Experience with PLM/PDM systems.
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
