Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist with meal times, including feeding and encouraging adequate fluid intake.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, their families, and other team members.
