Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo from trucks, aircraft, or warehouses, both manually and using basic material handling equipment.
- Sort, organize, and prepare freight for shipping or storage according to company procedures and regulatory standards.
- Verify cargo against manifests or other documentation, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required, including sweeping, tidying, and minor equipment checks.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
