Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured on-the-job training program to learn the operation of various industrial machines.
- Safely operate and monitor machinery, ensuring compliance with all company and industry safety standards and protocols.
- Load and unload materials into machines, following precise instructions and using appropriate handling techniques.
- Perform routine quality checks on manufactured products, identifying and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
- Monitor machine performance, making minor adjustments as needed to maintain optimal production rates and product quality.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery components.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report complex problems to maintenance technicians or supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Document production data, including output, downtime, and material usage, accurately and completely.
