Accenture is seeking an experienced and visionary Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team in the Philippines. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through their cloud transformation journeys, from strategic planning to detailed architectural design and implementation oversight. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex cloud solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments, primarily focusing on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements, pain points, and strategic objectives, translating them into robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectural designs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development and operations teams during the implementation, deployment, and operational phases of cloud projects.
- Develop and enforce cloud architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies to ensure security, compliance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies, services, and trends, recommending their adoption where appropriate to enhance existing solutions or develop innovative new capabilities.
- Architect and design solutions for cloud migration strategies, modernization of legacy applications, development of data platforms, and implementation of serverless architectures.
- Conduct architectural reviews, provide recommendations for performance optimization, cost management, and security enhancements for existing and new cloud environments.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to create compelling proposals and present innovative cloud solutions to prospective clients, acting as a subject matter expert.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with at least 4 years specifically focused on cloud solutions architecture and implementation.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions on at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud-native services, microservices architecture, serverless computing, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager for automated provisioning.
- Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection strategies in the cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a deep understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strategic and forward-thinking mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Familiarity with Big Data, AI/ML services, or Internet of Things (IoT) platforms on the cloud.
- Prior experience in a consulting environment or significant client-facing roles.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js) for automation and development purposes.
