Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and define data science project objectives.
- Perform extensive data exploration, cleaning, and pre-processing to ensure data quality and suitability for analysis.
- Develop and implement robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis).
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for business stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Deploy and monitor data science models in production environments, ensuring ongoing accuracy and performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, applying new techniques where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices, tools, and methodologies within CGI France.
- Mentor junior analysts and share knowledge across the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and their practical application.
- Experience with SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
