Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Shadow experienced supervisors to gain hands-on knowledge of daily workflow management and team coordination.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate stock rotation.
- Learn and enforce company safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Support the resolution of operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently after proper training and certification.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within designated warehouse areas.
- Contribute to performance reporting and data analysis under supervision.
- Take initiative to learn new skills and accept increasing levels of responsibility as part of the growth path.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (e.g., as a warehouse associate, material handler, or similar role)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office Suite)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations
- A strong desire to learn and grow into a leadership role
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proven problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
