Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of public transport operational staff, including drivers, dispatchers, and station personnel, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety regulations.
- Monitor daily public transport operations, ensuring punctuality, efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
- Respond effectively to operational incidents, emergencies, and disruptions (e.g., technical faults, accidents, service delays), implementing contingency plans and coordinating with relevant departments.
- Conduct regular operational audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage staff rosters, shift planning, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Liaise with maintenance teams, control centers, customer service, and external authorities to resolve issues and ensure smooth inter-departmental coordination.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback related to operational issues, striving for satisfactory resolutions.
- Prepare operational reports and documentation for management review.
