Job Description
This role is crucial for our construction projects across Al Barsha, Dubai, and beyond. As a Construction Site Helper, you will be an integral part of our on-site team, providing essential support that ensures the smooth and efficient progress of building activities. We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within the dynamic construction industry. This is a full-time, on-site position where your efforts directly contribute to the successful completion of various residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Your day-to-day will involve a variety of physical tasks, working alongside skilled tradespeople and engineers. From preparing materials and clearing debris to assisting with equipment setup and maintaining a tidy work area, your proactive approach will be invaluable. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere strictly to all site safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment around the site.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth using hand tools and power equipment.
- Operate power tools and machinery under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Set up and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure site safety and efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all company and site-specific health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the site supervisor immediately.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the site supervisor or foreman.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures on a construction site.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions.
