Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport the employer to various destinations, adhering to scheduled appointments and itineraries.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring regular cleaning, servicing, and necessary repairs.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (tyres, oil, water, fuel, lights, brakes) to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering traffic conditions and road closures, to ensure timely arrival.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or packages as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's personal and business affairs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, exercising defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Be flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required.
- Handle minor errands and deliveries as instructed by the employer.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s License (Class E or equivalent)
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic patterns
- Proven experience as a private driver or chauffeur
- Excellent defensive driving skills and a clean driving record
