Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily waste collection and street cleaning duties across designated routes within Liverpool, including litter picking, sweeping, and emptying public bins.
- Operate specialist cleaning equipment and vehicles (e.g., refuse lorries, street sweepers) safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational guidelines and safety regulations.
- Sort and separate recyclable materials from general waste as per company and local authority guidelines.
- Ensure the correct disposal of waste at designated transfer stations or recycling centres.
- Report any damage, hazards, or unusual observations on routes to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic operational checks of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks and routes.
- Interact professionally and courteously with members of the public when required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently, including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong understanding and commitment to health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
