Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided vehicle to deliver goods to various locations within Dibba Al-Fujairah and nearby areas.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is always in optimal condition.
- Follow assigned routes and time schedules meticulously to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Accurately process payments (cash, card) and issue receipts for delivered goods when required.
- Maintain precise delivery logs, expense reports, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, UAE Department of Transport (DOT) regulations, and company safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every delivery, addressing inquiries and resolving minor issues professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall good condition of the company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Inspect items before and after delivery to ensure they are in perfect condition and match order specifications.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE driving license (light vehicle).
- Strong driving record with no major infractions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical capability to lift and carry packages of varying sizes and weights.
- Thorough familiarity with the road networks and geographical areas of Dibba Al-Fujairah.
- High level of punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
