Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate laundry items (linens, towels, uniforms, etc.) according to fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload machines, ensuring proper chemical dosage and cycle selection.
- Fold, press, and hang laundered items neatly and consistently.
- Inspect items for damage or stains before and after washing, reporting any issues.
- Deliver clean linen to designated storage areas and departments (e.g., housekeeping, F&B).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues with laundry equipment promptly.
- Assist in inventory counts of linen and supplies as required.
