Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices and purchase orders.
- Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Document and report any damaged or missing items, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance logistics and warehousing skills.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
