Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate daily logistics activities with third-party logistics providers, transporters, and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all goods received, stored, and dispatched, and perform regular inventory reconciliations.
- Track and report on shipment statuses, inventory levels, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and national shipping regulations, customs procedures, and internal company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize logistics workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Promptly investigate and resolve any logistical issues, discrepancies, or delays.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards and procedures within the warehouse and during transit.
- Utilize logistics management software (LMS) or ERP systems for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on logistics performance, costs, and compliance for management review.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within warehouse and delivery management.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
