Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival to the establishment.
- Manage the reservation system and walk-in waitlist accurately and efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a comfortable and timely seating process.
- Answer incoming phone calls with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing accurate information.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area.
- Assist guests with coat check, special requests, or general inquiries.
- Monitor the dining room and seating flow to ensure balanced distribution for servers.
- Support dining room staff by assisting with light tasks as needed during peak times.
- Handle guest feedback and minor complaints gracefully, escalating to management when necessary.
- Familiarize yourself with daily specials, menu changes, and restaurant policies.
