Career.supersecrets is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Staff to join our dynamic team for various banquet and event openings across Kirehe, Eastern Province. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of banquet event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and décor.
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously, following established service standards and safety protocols.
- Ensure all dining areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout events.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service to enhance their overall experience.
- Handle and transport catering equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff, event managers, and other team members to ensure smooth event flow.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with washing dishes, cleaning kitchen areas, and other post-event duties as required.
- Represent Career.supersecrets with professionalism and a positive attitude at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, banquet service, restaurant, or hotel operations.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to speak Kinyarwanda is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
