Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision and care for children, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Organize and participate in educational and recreational activities suitable for children’s age and development.
- Assist with homework and school projects, fostering a love for learning.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas.
- Manage children’s schedules, including appointments and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children’s progress and daily events.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Nanny or Childcare Provider.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Clean background check and professional references.
Preferred Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) qualification or related training.
- Experience with multiple children or specific age groups (e.g., infants, toddlers).
