Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with the loading and unloading of parcels and packages safely and efficiently.
- Verify accurate sorting of parcels according to specific delivery routes and schedules.
- Ensure all packages are handled with utmost care to prevent damage during transit and delivery.
- Navigate designated delivery routes efficiently, assisting drivers with directions and route optimization using maps or GPS.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, providing courteous service during deliveries and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including obtaining proof of delivery and noting any discrepancies or issues.
- Support the driver in adhering to all traffic laws, company safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Assist with routine vehicle checks (e.g., fuel, tire pressure) and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Collaborate proactively with team members and dispatch to resolve delivery challenges and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures regarding parcel handling, customer interaction, and personal conduct.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery, logistics, or warehousing role, demonstrating an understanding of operational flow.
- Familiarity with the Tejuosho, Yaba, and general Lagos area, including common routes and landmarks.
