Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system, relaying them efficiently to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle guest payments accurately, process transactions, and manage cash and credit card procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waitstaff to ensure seamless service.
- Upsell menu items and beverages when appropriate, enhancing the guest experience.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and preparing for the next shift.
