Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Load and unload materials and products from machines and conveyors.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, defects, or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and minor adjustments as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE and participating in safety training.
- Record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and quality issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
