Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy and damage.
- Accurately count, weigh, or measure items and record data into the inventory management system.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
- Assist with picking and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring items match order specifications.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely after proper training.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient inventory flow.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
