Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily feeding and care of livestock, including cattle, sheep, and poultry.
- Participate in crop planting, cultivation, and harvesting activities, which may include operating basic farm machinery (training provided).
- Maintain and clean farm facilities, pens, and equipment to high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Monitor animal health and report any concerns to the farm manager.
- Undertake general farm maintenance tasks such as fencing, hedging, and minor repairs.
- Operate tractors and other farm machinery safely after appropriate training and certification.
- Assist with milking routines if applicable to the specific farm operation.
- Support the preparation of produce for market or storage.
- Adhere strictly to all farm health and safety regulations and animal welfare standards.
- Work collaboratively with the existing farm team to ensure efficient and productive operations.
