Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions, under the supervision of senior RNs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and continuing education programs.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients.
Required Skills
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Strong foundational knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records (EHR) documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within first 6 months).
