Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer proficient in Python and Django to join our growing team in Ifite, Anambra. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable web applications. You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from conception and design to testing and deployment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for building innovative solutions. You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding technology company and make a significant impact on our business. The work will involve building RESTful APIs, working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), implementing front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular), and ensuring the overall security and performance of our applications. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality web applications using Python and Django.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
- Implement front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Ensure the security and performance of our applications.
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering best practices.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our applications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and Django.
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular).
