Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Cinematographer and camera crew with daily operations on set, including camera setup, breakdown, and repositioning.
- Prepare and manage all camera equipment, lenses, filters, and accessories before, during, and after shoots.
- Ensure all camera batteries are charged and media cards are prepared and formatted.
- Perform basic camera maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Act as a clapper loader, maintaining accurate shot logs and camera reports.
- Support the camera department with rigging, grip equipment, and lighting setups as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and organised workspace around the camera, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Transport and safeguard valuable equipment to and from locations.
- Anticipate the needs of the Cinematographer and wider production team.
