Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup and execution.
- Prepare and process samples, reagents, and media according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Record and document experimental data accurately and meticulously.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks such as cleaning, sterilization, and waste disposal.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and assist with ordering new materials.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and protocols.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient laboratory workspace.
- Learn and implement new laboratory techniques and procedures as required.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency in data recording and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
