Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team in Trans Ekulu, Enugu. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to patient well-being. The ideal candidate will be a licensed pharmacist with experience in retail pharmacy settings and a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, accurately dispensing medications, providing patient counseling on medication use, maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering and receiving medications, complying with all pharmacy regulations and standards, maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy workspace, and actively participating in team meetings and training sessions. We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
- Order and receive medications and supplies.
- Comply with all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong patient relationships.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with other pharmacy tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Registered Pharmacist License in Nigeria
- Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Excellent knowledge of medications, their uses, and potential interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree
- Experience with pharmacy management software
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations in Nigeria
