Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials and products.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Transport products and materials to designated storage areas or loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-operation safety checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or defects immediately.
- Assist with the accurate receiving, sorting, and dispatching of inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and health regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and aisles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and operational needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance forklift operation skills and safety awareness.
Required Skills
- Valid Forklift Operator's License/Certification (or willingness to obtain with company support).
- Strong understanding and commitment to workplace safety procedures.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced warehouse environment.
