Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers and scientists in setting up and conducting laboratory experiments and analyses.
- Prepare samples, reagents, solutions, and media according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot standard laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and incubators.
- Record, document, and manage experimental data accurately and meticulously, ensuring data integrity.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks such as glassware washing, sterilization, and general lab upkeep.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies, chemicals, and reagents, and assist with ordering and restocking.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
- Conduct literature reviews and assist with data interpretation as needed.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
- Fundamental understanding of general laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data entry and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior laboratory experience from academic projects, internships, or volunteer work.
