Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including warehouse activities, freight forwarding, and final mile delivery.
- Optimize routing and scheduling of deliveries to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to prevent discrepancies and ensure product availability.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of logistics tasks.
- Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Negotiate with carriers and service providers to secure competitive rates and maintain high service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Resolve any issues that arise, such as delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement and manage logistical software and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within warehouse and delivery operations.
- In-depth understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS, route optimization tools).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all stakeholders.
