Key Responsibilities
- Source and fetch clean water from designated supply points using appropriate containers.
- Load and unload water containers (jerricans, drums) onto delivery carts, bicycles, or tricycles.
- Transport water safely and efficiently to customer locations within assigned routes across Gombe.
- Maintain accurate records of water delivered, quantities, and payments received.
- Collect payment for water sales promptly and ensure proper reconciliation at the end of each day.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor.
- Regularly inspect and maintain all delivery equipment (carts, bicycles, containers) to ensure operational efficiency, cleanliness, and hygiene.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and local regulations for water handling, transportation, and delivery.
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency, reduce travel time, and reach more customers.
- Report any issues concerning water quality, availability at supply points, or equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with regular customers, ensuring their continued patronage and loyalty.
- Work collaboratively with other vendors or team members as needed to meet overall distribution targets and address urgent requests.
