Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in maintenance engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing mechanical maintenance and repair work for a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment. This role demands a strong understanding of mechanical principles, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring optimal equipment performance and safety. You will be involved in preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing corrective actions. Experience with various types of machinery, including HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and industrial motors, is essential. The role also requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in mechanical systems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs.
- Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities and costs.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians on complex projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Develop and implement improvements to maintenance processes.
- Participate in project planning and budgeting
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional engineering license (COREN registration)
