Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students during bus routes, ensuring adherence to safety rules and behavioral guidelines.
- Assist students with safe boarding and alighting, particularly younger children or those with special needs.
- Maintain order and a positive atmosphere on the bus, addressing any disruptive behavior promptly and appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with the bus driver regarding student behavior, route issues, or emergencies.
- Ensure all students disembark at their correct stops and that no child is left behind on the bus.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns regarding student safety or behavior to school administration.
- Administer basic first aid if necessary and respond to medical emergencies according to established protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks to ensure the bus is clear of students and personal belongings.
- Serve as a liaison between parents, students, and school staff as needed, conveying important information.
- Participate in required training sessions on student management, safety procedures, and emergency response to stay current with best practices.
