Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor robust HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and assess risks.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for all personnel.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed HSE records, reports, and documentation.
- Advise management on HSE performance, risks, and improvement strategies.
- Manage waste disposal, pollution control, and environmental protection initiatives.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and engagement.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct emergency preparedness drills and ensure response plans are effective.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in HSE management, particularly in industrial or operational settings.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.

Preferred Qualifications
