Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery.
- Manage warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure data integrity.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international logistics regulations and safety standards.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the logistics process promptly and effectively.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and logistics service providers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and procedures.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and logistics software (e.g., ERP, WMS).
