Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers and lab technicians with the preparation of samples, reagents, and media for experiments.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks including cleaning glassware, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, pH meters, balances, and microscopes.
- Accurately record experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
- Support inventory management by tracking supplies, notifying senior staff of low stock, and assisting with restocking.
