Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Developer for Data Science to join our team in Choba, Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, data analysis, and machine learning. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to improve our business operations and enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with our data science team and other stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data visualization tools. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving existing data pipelines and ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and analysis
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering
- Develop data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve business problems using data-driven solutions
- Document code and processes clearly and concisely
- Contribute to the improvement of our data infrastructure and processes
- Mentor junior developers and share your expertise
Required Skills
- Proficient in Python programming
