You will be responsible for orchestrating the entire lifecycle of products within the warehouse, optimizing storage, coordinating dispatch schedules, and overseeing delivery routes to meet stringent deadlines and service level agreements. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure seamless flow of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates on delivery status and resolving any transit issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports on performance metrics, costs, and service levels.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and delivery logistics.
- Train and supervise junior staff or warehouse personnel as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, and transportation coordination.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Logistics Management Software (WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
