Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport employer and family members to various destinations as required.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle(s) in immaculate condition, ensuring cleanliness inside and out daily.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Manage routine vehicle servicing, preventative maintenance, and necessary repairs, keeping accurate records of all work done.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering traffic conditions, road closures, and alternative paths to optimize travel time.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, shopping, or other belongings with care and professionalism.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of all passengers at all times during journeys.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer’s personal affairs and daily activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the employer, which may include running errands or assisting with household logistics.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class G or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable professional driving experience, preferably in a private household or corporate executive setting.
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Lagos road networks, including Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, and general metropolitan areas.
- Proven record of safe driving with no major traffic violations or accidents.
