Key Responsibilities
- Assist culinary team with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and portioning ingredients.
- Set up dining areas, buffets, and service stations, ensuring all equipment and utensils are clean and ready for use.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, under the guidance of senior staff.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and all catering equipment throughout shifts.
- Operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans, ensuring all items meet sanitation standards.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring stock is organized and rotated properly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support head chefs and catering staff with any ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth and efficient event execution.
- Clear tables, dispose of waste responsibly, and assist with breakdown and cleanup after events.
