Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items (linens, towels, uniforms, guest laundry) according to fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow specific washing and drying instructions for various materials to prevent damage and shrinkage.
- Perform stain removal treatments where necessary, using appropriate chemicals and techniques.
- Inspect all items for cleanliness, damage, and proper folding/ironing before distribution.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry items for storage and distribution to relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry processed and inventory levels.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as required to support the overall team operations.
